Pacman may start

This isn't really all that newsworthy, he may get the start because Terrence Newman's left-groin isn't healing as quickly as everyone hoped. I only posted it so I could use the picture of Pacman in his Magic-Eye inspired suit.

The rest of the article from the Fort-Worth Star Telegram is here:

"For the second time in as many days, Newman was limited in practice and Dallas Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said Newman’s status remains uncertain for the season opener against the Browns in Cleveland.
Should Newman not be able to start, Jones would. Phillips did not say Newman will definitely play, but that it "looks good for him" to participate.
Last season in training camp, Newman suffered a heel injury that lingered all season. That experience taught the Cowboys that he needs to be slowly brought back into play.
Newman suffered this groin pull early in training camp and did not play in the preseason.
"We’re still going to be cautious with him. Last year, we played him only a few plays in the game. Only in nickel," Phillips said of Newman, who missed the first two games of the regular season before he was worked back into the rotation. "Then the next game we played him a little bit more. It could be that situation. Or it might be that he plays the whole game. I don’t have a feel for it yet."
Williams on alert
Safety Roy Williams knows what’s coming in Cleveland.
Considering his well-chronicled shortcomings in coverage and the presence of Pro Bowl tight end Kellen Winslow on the other side of the field, he expects to be a target of the Browns’ game plan.
"Why wouldn’t they?" Williams said. "Plus, when they have Winslow, he is basically another receiver. So you know they are. Not to sugarcoat it, they are going to flex him out and try to create one-on-one situations."
The Cowboys will have cornerback Anthony Henry replace Williams on obvious passing downs. But there is no hiding Williams on first and second downs.
"Personally, I never felt like I couldn’t get it done," Williams said. "I don’t worry about that. When they put me in man situations, I will have to man up and play."
After a tumultuous off-season when he endured criticism from inside and outside the Cowboys’ locker room about his suspect coverage skills, Williams said he’s excited to get this season started. He acknowledged being motivated to prove his critics wrong.
"I covered receivers in camp. I am not worried about covering," Williams said. "Last year, I really didn’t cover receivers in camp. I did it to remind myself I can do it when I get some work at it. It’s about getting some work."
He will likely get a lot more work Sunday.
Captains named
The Cowboys selected their captains for offense, defense and special teams Thursday.
They are Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Terrell Owens and Marion Barber on offense, Greg Ellis, Ken Hamlin and Bradie James on defense and Keith Davis on special teams.
Burnett might play
Linebacker Kevin Burnett described himself as a "maybe" for Sunday’s game. Burnett has been sidelined the past few weeks after having minor surgery on his knee.

I just noticed you've gone from CKCowgirl to 80s PunkCK. Not sure which I like better.

Although the new hair would go much better with Pacman's Magic Eye suit.
