McNair, George and Wycheck to be honored Monday Night

The Titans are adding three names to their Ring of Honor Monday night against the Colts; Steve McNair, Eddie George and Frank Wycheck. All three players were key members of the 1999 squad that made it to Super Bowl XXXIV, and played a huge role during the franchise's early years in Nashville. McNair threw for 27,141 yards while playing with the Titans from 1995-2005. He holds the franchise record for wins (81) by a quarterback. What isn't on the stat sheet was just how tough McNair was and how many games he won for the team through sheer desire. He never avoided the media, blamed anyone but himself if the offense played poorly, and never took credit when things were going well. His trade to Baltimore is still one of the saddest days in team history. To this day I believe that he could have helped VY become a true pro QB, especially the off-the-field stuff that seems to give VY the most trouble.
George holds the franchise record for career rushing yards (10,009) and touchdowns (74), while playing from 1996-2003. He was the best back in club history not named Earl Campbell. George started every game at RB for the Titans from his rookie season in 1996 until 2003 when he was released by the Titans and went to Dallas.
Wycheck led the team in receptions for five straight seasons and is third on the all-time list with 482. He played with the franchise from 1995-2003.It was Wycheck who threw the lateral, forward if you are a Bills fan, to Kevin Dyson in the Music City Miracle back in 1999.
McNair, George and Wycheck will join seven members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the ring: Elvin Bethea, George Blanda, Earl Campbell, Ken Houston, Warren Moon, Bruce Matthews and Mike Munchak. Former GM Mike Holovak is also in the ring, along with former punter Jim Norton.

I don't know, McNair never called enough attention to himself and he played in a small market, that will hurt him.
But, if the hall is about great players and leaders then he should have no trouble getting in, he was the both and that's not even throwing in how many times he played hurt, not sore shoulder hurt, but bruised sternum, bruised ribs etc hurt.

HOF not sure but he was a gamer in a small market. A dead and dieing breed I might add.
