Pacman heads to rehab

Is Pacman Jones finally starting to understand that without football he's a nobody, that he has to get his life together or the money and fame are gone? I don't want to get ahead of myself but maybe, just maybe Pacman is getting some brains. According to the Dallas Morning News, Pacman has checked himself into a Dallas alchohol treatment center.

"Suspended Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones will begin alcohol treatment today at an undisclosed location in the Dallas area, according to a source. Jones, working with former Cowboys cornerback Deion Sanders and a friend, began the process of trying to get back into the league after the NFL suspended him Tuesday.
The league has required Jones to go into treatment following his fight last week with his bodyguard in a hotel bathroom. Dallas police were called to the scene and determined Jones was drinking. "

if he can stick with it, props to him!!

i don't think he'll ever play in the nfl again. even JJ at this point has got to be banging his head, besides you've got others' that far outplay him!

If he's cleaned up and proves that he can stay clean, a team may take him. But. . .he has to prove that he's done drinking because every incident has involved alcohol.

Adam "Pacman" Jones is weighing his post-suspension options, including the possibility of entering an alcohol treatment facility in the Dallas area on an inpatient basis, a source told ESPN's Ed Werder on Thursday.

Earlier reports -- which appeared in The Dallas Morning News and were confirmed by a source to ESPN -- that the Cowboys cornerback already had entered a rehabilitation program were incorrect.

According to a source, the NFL -- which on Tuesday suspended Jones indefinitely following an alcohol-related scuffle last week with a bodyguard assigned to protect him -- has given Jones specific options regarding treatment.
