Botox Jerry says more about MB III

Jerry Jones is editing his remarks he made on Monday about Marion Barber and his ability to play against Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Jones said Barber could have taped and braced the toe well enough to allow him to play."He can play with that injured toe," Jones said. "He can play with the soreness and a combination of those things. I see nothing that led us to believe he couldn’t." As if saying that wasn't bad enough Jones had to go on and praise the rookie Tashard Choice who played for the injured Barber.

"Tashard might have added a plus," Jones said. "I don’t think we lost any slack there."
Choice’s play caught the attention of Pittsburgh linebacker LaMarr Woodley
"He’s a pretty good back. We knew that," Woodley said. "When he saw a hole he hit it, so you have to give him props. He ain’t in the NFL for nothing."

After catching much crap for his stupid remarks Jones was in backttrack mode when he appeared on WOIA AM -1200.

"We all know how tough Marion Barber is," Jerry said. "When he had his injury, I felt, 'Look, you'll have to shoot him to keep him off the football field.' I was surprised that we didn't have him. That was not meant to be critical of his toughness. It did come out that way, but fundamentally, it was because he is so tough that you would have thought that he could play."

With all due respect Jerry, that didn't do anything to lessen the perception that you are trying to achieve dumbassery nirvana everytime you talk. Your comments belong on a fan blog or in a newspaper comments section, unfortunately they are on the front page. Take a lesson from Daniel Snyder, keep your mouth shut to the press, just sign the checks.

I think you could use that comment on every NFL owner.

really? then i better get educated because after what i read on your blog yesterday or the day before breaking it all down, i've actually never heard of an owner being so biased towards a "color."

the ole saying
"quit while you are ahead" applies here big time!

Every team has done it, whether it's considered racism or "what's best for the team" depends on point of view.
