Shaun Smith vs Brady Quinn for dumbass of the day

The Browns not only lost to the Bengals in Cleveland yesterday, shutout no less.

If that wasn't enough, now there are rumors that the Browns are punching each other. The rumor was reported last night by play-by-play radio voice of the Cleveland Browns Jim Donovan, also of WKYC-TV Channel 3, that there is a story circulating in the locker room that defensive lineman Shaun Smith hit quarterback Brady Quinn. More details have been reported today. According to PFT.com, and numerous reports out of Cleveland including TE Darnell Dinkins. The incident occurred during a weightlifting session on Monday, December 15. After a verbal altercation, between the two, Smith punched Quinn in the face. And, as Dinkins said, we’re told Quinn has a mark on his face.
Teammates then intervened and pulled the players apart. While being separated, Smith threw a ten-pound weight at Quinn. The weight did not strike Quinn.

Punch him and then throw a 10-lb weight at him? WTF??!!

What if the weight hits Quinn in the face?

the right arm?

wrist?

No matter where it hits him he's hurt.

Dumb, double dumb.

Quinn is the starter in waiting for the Browns and the team has millions tied up in him, and he's on IR, he's not even playing. He has been everything you expect out of a pro, he played well when he had the chance and has never run his mouth about backing up Derek Anderson, even when the Browns weren't playing well. I don't have the mancrush on Quinn that Peter King and Mike Golic do but he's shown that he can play in the NFL.

Speaking of playing or not playing; Smith is supposedly unnamed player who quit on the Browns in their loss against the Denver Broncos that Jamal Lewis and Joshua Cribbs were talking about.

Of all the guys on the Browns that fans think need a punch in the face or anywhere else, there are lots of players they would choose before Quinn.
