Marvin Harrison may go down as one of the best WRs of all time but when it's playoff time he's invisible. Against the Chargers he had 3 catches for 20 yards and it's not the first time he's done his disappearing act. Harrison has now played in 16 playoff games, he has 65 catches for 862 and 2 TDs. Doesn't sound so bad except that he had both TD catches in a 41-10 blowout of the Broncos in the wildcard game in 2003. For 15 of 16 games he has been held without a score, it's no wonder Manning has had some trouble in the playoffs, it's hard to be great when your #1 WR is AWOL.
Compare his numbers to those of supposed #2 WR Reggie Wayne over 13 playoff games; 66 receptions 963 yards and 8 TDs.
Against the Chargers he had 4 for 129 and a TD. Without the 72 yard TD reception, Wayne was 5 for 57, not great but not terrible either.
Will this hurt Harrison's credentials down the line when it's time for Hall of Fame voting? Probably not, the guy has been a great, some seasons the best in the NFL, WR he deserves recognition for playing so well for so many years. People forget he didn't have Peyton Manning the first two seasons he was in Indy, he was catching passes from Jim Harbaugh and still put up good numbers. He'll be lumped with a few other guys of this era who were great regular season guys but lousy when it counted.

I hope it's cheaper to pay for silence in Philly than it is in Chicago, NY or NJ.
i dunno babe!! all i can tell you is they are NOT done with him yet. he's got the civil suit coming up~gonna be interesting to see how this plays out!

i think everyone involved in this case, is lying in some form. it's complete crap! i've no other way to put it!
