Floyd Reese=Mr. Obvious

Former Titans GM Floyd Reese finally admitted that drafting Pacman Jones was a mistake. When the Titans took Jones in 2006, they thought they were getting the CB of the future and the most dyanmic punt/kick returner in the draft. They knew about his off-the-field issues but decided that he was the player the needed. They decided to pass on players like Mike Williams, a very good decision and Antrelle Rolle, which was not a good decision according to Reese.
In today's Tennessean Reese had this to say:
"The way it's turned out, I wish we'd have picked Rolle,'' Reese said with a chuckle. "But I think if you would have asked right after the draft or a year or two later, I think everybody would have said we made what we thought at that point in time was a good decision. It just didn't turn out so well.''
Reese is right, it looked like Pacman was the better pick, on-the-field, for the first two seasons. But then the NFL had enough of Pacman and his off-the-field problems and finally sent the Pacman packing.
