The Cowboys officially cut CB, PR and full-time rainmaker Pacman Jones yesterday. The move means they will save a little on the cap, $1 million in 2009 because his contract had no guaranteed money, and will receive the Titans' 5th round draft pick. The Cowboys decided to cut him in January but yesterday was the first day NFL teams could actually release them.
Thankfully, Pacman ins't planning on giving up his NFL career. According to the Dallas Morning News he plans on staying in shape by working out with Deion Sanders and several draft-eligible players in the coming weeks.
And in true Pacman style, he tells us all how humble he is;
"I still think I'm one of the best players on that team," Jones said. "It is what it is."
