TO is gone

To is gone....TO is gone....TO is gone.
He's gone and he's gone.
The Boys may not be better without him but they will be a helluva lot quieter and we can now get a better idea if Tony Romo is an NFL QB or not.It is indeed a great morning, even if the Cowboys go 6-10 next year I'm a much happier Cowboy fan and I have a little more respect for Botox Jerry.
Here are a couple of thoughts about the POS TO being sent down the road.

First Tim McMahon of the Dallas Cowboys blog;
"If you take a short-term view of the Cowboys cutting T.O., you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
It's tough to envision getting rid of the team's best playmaker as a move that immediately makes the offense better. But I'll go out on a limb and say that the Cowboys will win at least as many playoff games without T.O. as they did with him.
This was a wise move because it will take time to get rid of T.O.'s influence around Valley Ranch. That process can begin now.
There will be plenty of players perturbed by this decision. Those are the same guys that T.O. had convinced that Jason Witten was a back-stabbing snitch. T.O. was the most powerful voice in the locker room, and that was a huge part of the problem. He'll no longer be around to poison the minds of all the young players who looked up to him, leading to a me-first atmosphere that made the Cowboys the NFL's most dysfunctional, underachieving franchise."

Or as Jean-Jacques Taylor said;
" The Cowboys now belong to Tony Romo.
Jerry Jones made that clear on Thursday, when he fired T.O.
That's right, the universal scapegoat has been removed from the Cowboys' roster, according to an ESPN report.
It had to be done.
There was absolutely no way Jerry could have returned this team intact after its woeful December and embarrassing finish in Philadelphia and expect a different result.
Jerry may be a lot of things, but he's not a fool.
He needed to make a dramatic change to this organization to signify change.
And if he wasn't going to fire Wade Phillips. Or Jason Garrett wasn't going to get another job. Or Jerry wasn't going to sign Ray Lewis.
Then Jerry absolutely, positively had to let T.O. go. You know it pained Jerry to do so because he always feels like he can save lost player.
But it wouldn't work with T.O.
His personality is too powerful. There was no one in the locker room with the professional success or the intestinal fortitude to insist he sit down and shut up.
So he had to go."

TO always said he wanted to retire a Cowboy; maybe, just maybe he got his wish.

Kuharsky was on this morning making fun of people who think he's a good signing in TN. He also said his boss sent him an e-mail telling him to do a story on how TO would fit with each of the AFC South teams.
PK's response;
Houston-no
Indy-no
Jacksonville-no
Tennessee-no

Florio of course thinks he could wind up in Oakland, Washington, J-E-T-S, or Baltimore(Ray-Ray loves him some TO)

If he goes to Baltimore, Flacco is done, he'll eat that kid alive. Newsome has to realize that it's easier to find WRs than it is QBs. He's been trying to find a QB for almost 10 years and now that he has one you don't screw him up but bringing in TO.
