Vince Young is now 3-0 as a starter in 2009 for the Titans, and fans are wondering, again, why did it take owner Bud Adams telling Field Goal Fisher to start him before he went with VY? Did Fisher really have that much confidence in Kerry Collins?

Why did it take Fisher so long?

I'm happy for Vince, he's not lighting it up but he's winning games and that counts more than stats in my book.
That's a great question. Loyalty only goes so far in the NFL, and it's not like Kerry was a long tenured QB with the club. He had a miracle year last year. That magic didn't carry over. It's good to see them winning, and I've got a newfound respect for Bud's style after his Buffalo show.
It was Fisher that needed to adjust his philosophy not VY.
