Looks like Tiki really is a selfish crybaby

In an interview set to come out tomorrow in Steppin' Out magazine, Tiki Barber hints that he might want to make a comeback, but next year. Said the walking ego:""I miss football. I want to be out there playing on Sunday afternoons. I miss the stage. I also miss the guys a little bit because they were my close friends for so many years. In fact, I ran into Jeremy Shockey on the street the other day and I said to him, 'Damn, I forgot how big you are!' He gave me a big hug and said he missed me too. It was great. If I wanted to come back and play football next year I could. I know I still have a lot left."
What is it with this guy? Does he really believe that people will forget that he was pretty well hated in the Giants lockerroom because it was always someone else's fault the team lost? What about all that crap last year when he was talking retirement because he wanted to play with his kids, wanted to do other things. Maybe it was a total lie and writers with a mancrush on him, Peter King most notably, all lapped it up because here was a guy who was retiring for the right reasons. In hindsight, we should have known better, athletes lie all the time, the ones the media likes never get called on it, the media just talks and talks about how great they are. http://www.yardbarker.com/author/article_external/30235

You can change your mind without being a liar.
