Don't blame VY, blame "Field Goal Fisher"

People in Nashville are ripping VY for how bad the Titans offense is, folks it's not VY's fault, the guy to blame is "Field Goal Fisher". Fisher has never believed in anything more than a caveman offense and he is working his magic with VY. In the glory years of the Titans 1999-2003, their offense was one of the worst in football, without Al Del Greco and SteveMcNair they would never have scored. First, fans blamed McNair because he was not Air McNair like he was at McNeese State, then they blamed Les Steckel the OC because he had the same fear of the forward pass as Woody Hayes. In 2000, Les Steckel was fired or resigned, depends who you believe, the Titans hired Mike Heimerdinger to try to bring the Titans offense into the 20th century. Heimerdinger was the only one who was able to produce good offensive numbers for the Titans offense. After Heimerdinger left to become the Jets OC in 2005, the Titans hired Norm Chow. Chow had a great rep in college but in the pros his offense has been predictable and boring. The only constant is Fisher, his dream is have his offense score 13-20 points and rely on the D. This will win games but not championships, but with Fisher at the helm the Titans will enjoy many more years of good D and terrible O.
