Packer great LeRoy Butler has made some more that interesting comments about Lord Favre.
First there was Butler talking to WTMJ: “Brett wants to play,” Butler said. “Now the tough part now is can he take it back? I don’t know if he can or not, that means he might have to go to another team, and the teams that need quarterbacks are the ones in our division. So Minnesota, Detroit, Chicago, not to mention how bout throwing a wrench in there when they’re doing his jersey - ‘I ain’t retiring’.”
Then, at Frank Winters' enshrinement into the Packer Hall of Fame Butler said Lord Favre needs to report to camp, say it was all my fault and if they want him to compete for the job good I'll do it.
Good Luck with that LeRoy, Lord Favre has yanked the Packers around for the past seven years, there is no way he's going to admit that this is his fault, he wants the Packers to roll out the red carpet for him and welcome him back like the prodical son.

LEROY BUTLER, FORMER GREEN BAY PACKER: Hi, Greta, how are you doing?
VAN SUSTEREN: I'm doing very well. What do you make of this story out of Green Bay?
BUTLER: Well, I love it. I think it is great theater.
But this story has taken a new twist with the Minnesota Vikings even getting involved. And don't forget, they have Darren Sharpe already and Ryan Lowngwell.
Brett's probably friends with a lot of guys around the league, but just to look at that division, I think every team needs a quarterback in that division, including Detroit.
So I am not surprised. At the same time I think it will get ugly before it gets better.

BUTLER: No question about it. I'd look at Brett Favre right now, and I think he is better than over half of the quarterbacks in the league.
Why wouldn't any coach want to have him? I am a huge Brett Favre fan. He has admitted that he has done a few things wrong. But I don't like the way the Green Bay Packers are treating him, because he has earned his right to make his decision as long as he wants.
But, at the same time, I understand the team wants to move on. But we are talking about the winningest quarterback in history.
So I think this should be handled better, and, hopefully, it will be.

1. Brett will play for someone else in the division,
2. that he needs to come to camp, admit it was all his fault and compete for the job

All very confusing, hopefully Butler will stop talking sometime soon, he's making Lord Favre sound like he's making sense.
