Former Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow had some harsh words fot VY this morning on a local Nashville radio station. In an interview with ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky, UCLA's offensive coordinator had a zinger at the end of the interview when the conversation was about Matt Leinart and Vince Young: "Everyone knew who I wanted and... the minute that they took Vince I told my wife, 'I think my days are numbered here."
Chow has been pretty open in his feelings about VY and the Titans, owner Bud Adams in particular, decision to draft VY over Matt Leinart. Although Leinart may have been a better fit for Chow's offense, he certainly hasn't been the better pro despite having much better WRs than VY.
But the Chow/VY debate has gone both ways. VY was pretty happy when the Titans fired Chow back in January and talked about the decision to replace Chow with Mike Heimerdinger. VY spoke to YouTube members and talked about how glad he was Mike Heimerdinger had replaced Norm Chow as offensive coordinator. VY repeatedly mentioned that Heimerdinger is aggressive and unpredictable. VY is obviously taking shots at Norm Chow and goes on to say that Mike Heimerdinger is finally going to turn him loose. Vince is talking like he's gonna lead the Titans to the playoffs.

Hopefully this will be the end of this pissing match between these two, they both have more to worry about than each other, like winning football games.

If VY ends up stinking as a pro as he did in today's opening game, Norm looks like a genuis yet again.
I do think Leinart would be putting up great numbers under NC in Tennessee. Too bad for both it didn't happen. But if Tenn offense dominated, all that would lead to is more NC love from the media to piss of Fisher who wouldn't get enough credit and lead Norm to feel forced to take another job.
