Pacman might play some WR for the Boys

The Cowboys Wr corp is as thin as any in the league and they plan to address the situation by using Pacman Jones at WR. It makes sense, Pacman is one fo those guys who can go the distance whenever he touches the ball. He had 4 punt returns for TDs for the Titans in 2006 and has averaged almost 12 yards per return for his career. He also played some offense for the Titans scoring a TD on a reverse that was called back. Now that Pacman is a Cowboy, Jerry Jones is talking to whoever will listen about how he plans to solve the Cowboys' WR problems.
From Tim McMahon of The Dallas Morning News:
"Jerry Jones got to rambling about the Cowboys' receiver position today when he dropped this gem:
"I think potentially we could get some of those offensive plays that Adam 'Pacman' Jones ran over at Tennessee - he had 15, 20 of them, got in the slot. That could help us there too."
Jerry clearly has visions of Pacman, sporting No. 21, impersonating Deion Sanders' Prime Time days. Not sure whether the owner/GM has consulted with Wade Phillips or Jason Garrett on the matter. At least one member of the Cowboys' coaching staff is on board with the idea. Ray Sherman was the Titans' receivers coach during Pacman's time in Tennessee, so he knows better than anyone around these parts what kind of potential Pacman has with the ball in his hands.
"He was a guy that we put in and spot played," Sherman said. "He did some reverses and did some things out of the backfield. He's very explosive. When he gets his hands on the ball, he's a guy that can make people miss. He's a very explosive player.
"Some of the things we practiced with him we didn't use in ballgames. He's a very talented one man. People will see once he returns a punt or a kickoff, he's one of the most explosive guys I've ever been around."
Pacman hasn't played any offense in the OTA workouts we've seen, and Sherman said it'd be up to Wade Phillips whether No. 21 sees any time on that side of the ball. Not sure how well Sherman knows Jerry.
Well, WR depth is a pretty big concern for the season opener, so how about putting Pacman in the slot for a few plays in Cleveland?
"It's a little early and we don't want to give out any secrets," Phillips said with a smirk, "so I'd say right now we don't expect him to play much receiver."
On a somewhat related note, here's a picture of the suit Pacman wore to the Cowboys Kickoff Luncheon. I don't believe he bought it off the rack."
Jerry might want to let him figure how to cover people again before he worries about how he can impact the offense.
BTW, the suit looks like an old Magic Eye design, if you look stare at it long enough you'll see the shark, or maybe it's Saturn, I never know with these things.
