Former University of Tennessee Vol, Buffalo Bill, Tennessee Titan and Denver Bronco Travis (Cheese) Henry has been arrested and charged with trafficking multiple kilograms of cocaine, the federal Drug Enforcement Administration announced today. His nickname in high school was Cheese because he was, and is built like a little block of cheese. Each team Henry had played for had cut him or released him because of either his problems with marijuana or the nine children he has fathered in North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida and Georgia. When Henry was a Titan he borrowed several thousand dollars from the Titans to make several child support payments, or at least he said it was for child support. The most disturbing thing to come to light so far was Henry threatening a Montana couple that they were "dead" if they didn't come up $40,000 worth of cocaine that was stolen from them.
From the Denver Post:
The drug sales involved more than five kilograms of cocaine, worth $100,000, according to an arrest warrant affidavit that referred to Henry as the "money guy" in an ongoing multi-state drug conspiracy.
Henry told one Billings, Mont., customer that he and his family were all "dead" if they didn't come up with $40,000 worth of cocaine lost when their home was robbed, according to the affidavit.
To make up for the stolen cocaine, Henry and Mack came up with a scheme to give another customer two kilograms of fake cocaine, or drywall, along with one kilogram of real cocaine, the document says. "

A passenger in the car alleged that for $5,000 he was hauling three kilograms of cocaine worth $60,000 and six pounds of marijuana worth $3,600 for Henry and Mack to customers in Billings, the affidavit says.
The suspect agreed to become a confidential informant and help authorities build a case against fellow drug dealers Henry and Mack, the affidavit said.
The informant had previously delivered three kilograms of cocaine to a Billings drug dealer for $64,500, the affidavit says.
But the same informant was already in trouble with Henry and Mack because he had given two kilograms of cocaine to a Billings drug dealer earlier and the drugs worth $40,000 had been robbed, the affidavit said. Henry and Mack were holding him responsible for losing the drugs, the records say.
Henry had told the informant that he and the drug dealer whose house was robbed and their families were all "dead" unless they covered the loss, the affidavit said.
In order to save his life, the informant came up with an idea to rip off another Billings drug dealer by selling him one real kilogram and two sham kilograms of cocaine, the affidavit says."

From the Rocky Mountain News:
"Henry and another man, James Mack, were arrested Tuesday after "as a result of a multi-kilogram cocaine transaction" in Centennial, Jeffrey D. Sweetin, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA's Rocky Mountain Division, said in a statement.
The two men are being held pending the filing of federal drug charges in U.S. District Court later today in Denver.

This isn't the first trouble Henry has had with drugs, he had been in the NFL's substance-abuse program for the past several seasons because of positive tests for marijuana.
Henry's NFL future was further clouded when league officials confirmed in July that the free agent player faced a one-year suspension for a new violation of the NFL substance-abuse policy in the weeks before the Broncos cut him.
Drugs weren't Henry's only off-field problem.
A Georgia child-support court case revealed he had fathered nine children by nine women across four southern states.
Henry was accused of ignoring judges' orders to pay child support. A judge ordered also Henry to establish a trust for a 3-year-old because of his past failure to support the toddler.
Meanwhile, court documents revealed Henry spent nearly $250,000 of his Broncos signing bonus on a Mercedes and gold jewelry.
None of this helped his cause on a team that stresses the importance of its players' characters."

Huh, a team that stresses the character of it's players? Has Alan Gathright just started covering the Broncos? Brandon Marshall, Courtney Brown, Gerald Warren are considered "character guys"?
