VY back at practice

Vince Young returned to practice with the Titans today, participating in most drills, including 7-on-7 and some team drills.

Coach Jeff Fisher said it might be later in the week before he decides whether Young will be able to be the No. 2 quarterback behind Kerry Collins for Sunday’s game at Baltimore. If Young were the No. 3 quarterback, Chris Simms would continue to be the No. 2.

No word on what else VY did or how he looked and knowing the way Fisher is trying to handle the VY situation, this probably all he'll say except something along the lines of; "Vince looked good today and we'll continue to evaluate his progress".

Word is Collins has turned down an extension and wants a chance to compete for the starting role in 09.

collins is going to be the starter unless he does something amazingly crack headed to mess that up.

Or until Bud Adams says, put VY back in; which he might because he's as crazy and as old as Al Davis.
