The Playmaker is talkin to the cops

After having a gun pulled on him a few weeks ago, Michael Irvin bragged that he had talked to the potential robbers, he then refused to talk to the cops about what happened. The investigation into who pulled a gun on such an upstanding citizen stalled and most thought it was over.

Not so fast, word out of Dallas is that Irvin's lawyers are now talking to the boys in blue.

Irvin told KTVT-TV that his lawyers have been in touch with police officials. Irvin returned to Dallas on Friday after working at the Super Bowl and then making a trip to Los Angeles, and police confirmed that they have spoken to Irvin’s representatives and don’t doubt the veracity of Irvin’s statemenIrvin alleged that two men in a truck pulled a gun on him at a stoplight on Jan. 12, filing a police report where he said he was “very afraid.”

Probably because he's trying to be everything to everyone.
He wants to be the tough street kid and not tell the cops everything just the stuff that makes him look good AND he's trying to be the changed Playmaker.
