How good does Mike Martz look to the Rams now?

Two years after John Shaw and Mike Martz got into a power struggle that cost Martz his job, Shaw now finds himself in possible hot water because of the guy he hired to replace Martz is worse than Martz, at least on the field he's worse.
Shaw hired Scott Linehan, another offensive genius who was the hot assisstant at the time to take over after he fired Martz. The first year it looked like Shaw had done the right thing, Linehan's ball control offense had kept Marc Bulger healthy and made a star out of Steven Jackson. But for some reason, injuries maybe but everyone has injuries, the 2007 Rams an abyssmal failure. Linehan has somehow run the Rams offense into the ground and seems like he has no ida how to solve the problem. Not only are the Rams 0-7, but their offense consists mostly of Jeff Wilkins field goals.
Despite the troubles, the only way that Linehan is fired before the end of the season is if Shaw has to do it to save his own skin and with Shaw that is a very distinct possibility.
